A strong contender is Shane Lowry, who has a strong track record. He won at Oakmont in 2016 and tied for ninth at Chambers Bay the year before.
The favourite to win the trophy is undoubtedly Jordan Spieth, with most bookmakers making him the top pick.
Another top contender is Dustin Johnson, who has been nothing but impressive in recent years and is especially reliable when it comes to performing on difficult golf courses.
